Who’s on The Celebrity Bake Off 2014?

The lineup of celebrity contestants taking part in this years special, Sport Relief version of The Great British Bake Off are:

Episode 1

Michael Vaughan – Retired England and Yorkshire cricketer.

Bonnie Wright – Actress and model.

Samantha Bond – English TV and movie actress.

Johnny Vaughan – Radio and TV presenter.

Presenter: Sue Perkins

Challenges: Signature – Sandwich biscuits, Technical – Tarte tatin, Showstopper – 3D novelty cake representing a sporting landmark.

Episode 2

Jason Gardiner – Member of the Dancing on Ice, ice panel judges.

Jane Horrocks – English theatre, film and TV actress.

Kirsty Young – Former Channel 5 newsreader and current presenter of the BBC show, Crimewatch.

Greg Rutherford – Reigning Olympic long jump champion.

Presenter: Jo Brand

Challenges: Signature – Gingerbread biscuits, Technical – Banoffee pie, Showstopper – A cake which represents each of the celebrities jobs.

Emma Freud – Radio and television broadcaster.

Michael Ball – Singer, presenter and actor.

Jamelia – Singer and television personality.

Challenges: Signature – Traybake, Technical – Iced ring doughnuts, Showstopper – A layered cake that pays homage to the celebrity contestants hero’s of the sporting world.

Episode 4

Alistair McGowan – Impressionist and comedian.

Helen Skelton – Countryfile co-host and former Blue Peter presenter.

Rochelle Humes – Singer with the girl-group, The Saturdays.

Doon Mackichan – Comedian and comedy actress.

Presenter: Ed Byrne.

Challenges: Signature – Pizza, Technical – Eccles cakes, Showstopper – Tiered cakes that represent various items of sporting equipment.

When is the Great Sport Relief Bake Off on BBC Two?

The series start date has been set for Monday, 13 January, 2014 with the mini-series airing over four consecutive nights up to and including Thursday the 16th. Here’s the full series TV schedule with start times:

Episode 1: 8:30pm, Monday, 13, Jan, BBC Two.

Episode 2: 8:00pm, Tuesday, 14, Jan, BBC Two.

Episode 3: 8:00pm, Wednesday, 15, Jan, BBC Two.

Episode 4: 8:00pm, Thursday, 16, Jan, BBC Two.

Bake Off regulars Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry will again be on hand throughout to cast judgement over the celeb contestants creations.
