Plot

Living next to each other in rural Scotland, two families worlds become rocked by a horrendous double murder. But rather than following the police investigation as a traditional crime drama would, One Of Us will instead focus on the effects of the killings on the grieving family members, and the dark consequences which threaten to destroy their lives.

Following the announcement that the show is heading to BBC1, writers Harry and Jack stated: “We’re excited to be telling a modern-day parable that explores big themes and ideas through the lens of a very personal, character-driven story”.

In addition to The Missing, Two Brothers Pictures have also recently brought us such television shows as the BBC Three sitcom ‘Fried’ and Channel 4’s animated comedy series ‘Full English’.

When does One Of Us start on BBC1?

With the show having first been announced in November of 2014 and filming not starting until the following August, an air date of late 2015 or early 2016 looks most likely. We’ll bring you more updates on that, as it’s released. We do know though that once the show does premiere, it will be broadcast over four 60 minute episodes.
