ITV Drama Series ‘Prey’ Air Date and Trailer

When does Prey start on ITV?

ITV have now officially confirmed the air date and time for their brand-new drama series starring BAFTA nominated actor John Simm.

‘Prey’ will begin broadcasting at 9:00pm on Monday, 28 April, 2014 on ITV and will run for a total of 3 episodes. This high-octane thriller follows the story of a man on the run, who for the sake of his family, becomes desperate to clear his name.

Written and created by Chris Lunt and directed by BAFTA award-winner Nick Murphy, Simm plays Detective Sergeant Marcus Farrow, who is arrested for an inhumane crime he did not commit.

In addition to John Simm, the cast list for Prey will also feature such names as Adrian Edmondson, Rosie Cavaliero, Anastasia Hille and Craig Parkinson.

While we wait for Prey to hit our TV screens, here’s a look at the shows all-action, extended trailer:

Where is Prey filmed for ITV?

During the production of Prey, many filming locations were used across Greater Manchester.

When asked how was it filming there, lead actor John Simm said: “Manchester is very familiar to me, I spent my formative years there, going to see bands, watching football, clubbing, hanging around The Arndale and Afflex Palace, and I’ve worked there so many times. But there were certainly some back alleys that I’d never run down before!”

“It’s a great city, my spiritual home. My parents still live nearby so I’m up there quite a bit.”
