Series 4 of ITV’s hit detective drama Scott & Bailey begins airing at 9:00pm on Wednesday 10 September, 2014 on ITV. The new season is scheduled to run for 8 episodes.

This series looks set to see Rachel and Janet’s relationship severely tested as they each eye up the opening position of Detective Sergeant. Each hoping to secure the job, the pair put themselves in front of the
promotion board with the aim of replacing D.S. Rob Waddington.

But with both ladies making a very strong case for themselves, who will eventually get the nod?

Where is Scott and Bailey filmed?

Beginning in April of 2014, series 4 used a number of filming locations in Manchester and Oldham.

The ITV series, which originally premiered in May 2011, is based on an idea by Suranne Jones and former Coronation Street actress Sally Lindsay.
