What location is used to film The Jump on C4?
Channel 4’s winter games themed reality TV show is filmed at locations in and around Innsbruck, Tyrol in Austria, including the town of Wörgl.
The live shows are broadcast from the small town of Natters, whose ski jumping facilities were first constructed in 1964. The site features the K15, K24 and now K60 jumps, of varying heights and difficulties.
In addition to being a popular winter holiday destination, the city’s sporting venues situated in the Inn Valley have previously played host to the Winter Olympics in both 1964 and 1976.
During the Channel 4 series, The Jump’s 12 celebrity contestants will be put through their paces across 6 winter sporting events.
The Jump returns to our screens for series 2 in January of 2015. The competition will again be presented by Davina McCall and The Last Leg’s Alex Brooker.
