The ten-part series which premieres in the UK in January, 2014, was filmed during 2013 in the Czech Republic capital of Prague.

On Sunday the 9th of February, 2014, the BBC confirmed it had commission a second season of The Musketeers.

    If only we could have more programs like this i look forward to it every sunday great production just shows that the BBC can still make good programs well done to all concerned in the prodution of it please make more class programs like this.

      I totally agree, great cast, great plot twists, a good mix of action and dialog, plus some genuinely funny moments added in for good measure. I thought the filming locations and costumes also looked great. Very much looking forward to series 2.
