Who’s playing the character D’Artagnan in the up-coming BBC series, The Musketeers?

The lead role of D’Artagnan is played by the English actor Luke Pasqualino, previously best known as Freddie McClair in the E4 drama Skins. The 23 year old also stared as Paolo in BBC Two’s historical-drama, The Borgias.

Here’s the cast list for the three Musketeers themselves, Athos, Porthos and Aramis:

Athos – Tom Burke

Porthos – Howard Charles

Aramis – Santiago Cabrera

The 2014 series also stars new Doctor Who actor Peter Capaldi, as Cardinal Richelieu.

Pasqualino and The Musketeers premiere on BBC One on Sunday the 19th of January, 2014.
