Question: When does the new series of Strictly Come Dancing begin in 2013?
Answer: The official start date for this years series 11 of Strictly has now been announced with the launch show airing on Saturday, 7 September and the live shows expected to start on Friday, 27 September, 2013.

Main hosts Tess Daly and Sir Bruce Forsyth are both set to return to the celebrity ballroom dancing show along with Claudia Winkleman.
With very brief teaser trailers saying coming in September now running on TV, the BBC is just making sure viewers don’t forget about Strictly amidst all the current X Factor hype. Not to mention ITV’s own celebrity dancing show Stepping Out which premieres the same night as the X Factor.
