Where was BBQ Champ filmed? – ITV Filming Locations

BBQ Champ ITV Filming Locations: Judges and hosts Adam Richman, Mark Blatchford and Myleene Klass put eight British amateur barbecuers through their paces.

Where is BBQ Champ filmed for ITV?

Despite this barbecue competition requiring a few days of dry sunny weather, ITV took the gamble of filming the new 2015 show in Britain. More specifically, BBQ Champ was filmed at Stansted Park Farm Shop in Rowlands Castle, Hampshire.

For the first episode at least, taking a chance on the British weather appears to have paid off.

In what can best be described as The Great British Barbecue Off, this new ITV competition pits eight of the countries best amateur BBQ chefs (I’m sure there’s plenty of you out there who think you could do better) against each other. The winner of the series will walk away with a prize of £25,000, not bad for flipping a few pieces of meat.

The show is hosted and judged by Myleene Klass, Adam Richman and Mark Blatchford. Though Myleene doesn’t look like she’s eaten at too many BBQ’s in her time and many viewers won’t have even heard of restaurateur Mark Blatchford, the series gains significant credibility with the addition of TV eating legend Adam Richman.

This once small-time American actor shot to fame a few years back when he began hosting a little show called Man v. Food. Here Adam would tour the US taking on some of the countries biggest eating challenges – Attempting to consume oversized or insanely spicy meals within a strict time limit.

Initially appearing impossible, the Brooklyn native often came out on top in these challenges, though usually looking the worse for wear. Despite generally fasting the day before a challenge, Richman still gained a significant amount of weight during his time on Man v. Food and has since retired from this form of competitive eating.
