If having the new series of the X Factor recently starting on ITV1 isn’t enough for you, this Friday see’s the start of ITV2’s X Factor USA coverage.

In contrast to the channels current coverage of Americas Got Talent which originally aired in the US in 2012, ITV2 will be bringing UK viewers the X Factor USA little over a week after it premiered across the Atlantic.

Series 3 of the X Factor USA will feature a couple of familiar faces in former UK judges Simon Cowell and Kelly Rowland. They will be joined by Mexican singer Paulina Rubio and American pop star Demi Lovato.

Rowland and Rubio join this years panel, replacing last seasons judges Britney Spears and L.A. Reid.

The first round auditions kick off at 8:00 PM on Friday, 20 September, 2013 on ITV2 and ITV2 HD.

Really?? Why would they do that and not announce it?????? When did it move??? Have we missed any episodes? Last time I saw it, they had just finished the four chair challenge and the live shows were coming up. Really disappointed in ITV (Channel of the year – lol!!)

I know – my YouView box didnt pick it up either. Thanks to David Harris I found it has now moved to Saturday/Sunday lunchtimes although I was a bit confused to begin with because I expected Sundays show to be the results but in actual fact they all sang one more song and apparently the results will be this week. Very strange format and at this rate it will be on our screens for a good few weeks unless they have more than one act leave each week. Josh Levy is a great kid who I am really glad to see has come back, but there seems to have been no explanation for his return and now Paulina has an extra contestant which is slightly unfair! Am I taking this too seriously, I wonder……. ???!!

Thanks!!! Hope you are right as it just got to the first of the live shows stage which is where it gets interesting. Weirdly I prefer the U.S version of X Factor!!!!

Yeah hopefully that’s the only reason, I can’t imagine ITV2 would stop showing it mid series and I can’t find any announcement saying they have. Still can’t believe Demi Lovato didn’t put Ashly Williams through to the live shows though.

Has X Factor USA been pulled from ITV2 programming?.

The X Factor has recently been postponed and rescheduled in the USA on Fox due to their baseball coverage. If the show has been removed from the ITV2 listings, I can only imagine it’s related to this issue and will only be a temporary change.

ah ok, Because I haven’t seem the Xfactor usa in uk in November, so it will come back with the live shows after comes back in usa?

        • Friday 22 November, 2013 at 10:24 PM

Yeah there was only a temporary halt to the series in the US, it’s been back on ITV2 for 2 or 3 weeks now, they switched it to Saturday afternoons without telling anyone. You can catch up with some episode’s you may have missed on ITV Player.
