The Guest Actors of BBC Series ‘The Musketeers’ Including Vinnie Jones & Ashley Walters

Actors Ashley Walters and Fiona Glascott join the Cast for Episode 5, ‘The Homecoming’

The BBC’s exciting new drama series The Musketeers will see Ashley Walters and Fiona Glascott join the cast list this February as they guest star in Episode 5, ‘The Homecoming’.

Ashley Walters, who was once a member of the UK garage/hip hop group So Solid Crew, under the name Asher D, will play the part of Charon. Walters has previously starred in many other British TV series, including Hustle, Outcasts, Top Boy, Doctor Who and Truckers.

Meanwhile, 31-year-old Irish actress Fiona Glascott, whose more recent TV credits include Episodes, Spooks and Death in Paradise, plays the role of Flea.

This particular episode will also feature guest star Endeavour and Game of Thrones actor Anton Lesser, appearing as Émilie De Mauvoisin. The show’s plot sees Porthos wrongly sentenced to death, needing D’Artagnan and the Musketeers to save him by proving his innocence.

Tara Fitzgerald and Amy Nuttall star in Episode 6

The BBC have just released these preview images for episode 6 of their latest hit TV series, The Musketeers. The programme will feature guest star actresses Tara Fitzgerald as Marie de Medici and Amy Nuttall as Agnes.

Fitzgerald is an award-winning English actress who regularly appears on both stage and screen. Among many other roles, the 46-year-old starred as Dr. Eve Lockhart in the BBC’s ‘Waking the Dead’ and Selyse Baratheon in ‘Game of Thrones’.

Her character Marie de Medici (not to be confused with another historical figure, Maria de Medici) is the once-banished mother of King Louis, who comes to her son seeking protection.

Meanwhile, Amy Nuttall, who plays the character Agnés, is probably best known to UK audiences for her role as Chloe Atkinson in the ITV soap, Emmerdale. The 31-year-old has more recently starred as Ethel Parks in the period drama, Downton Abbey.

Annabelle Wallis guest stars in Episode 7

Episode 7 of The Musketeers season 1 will see English actress Annabelle Wallis guest-star as the character, Ninon De Larroque.

Ninon is a highborn woman to whom Athos takes a particular disliking, but despite their negative feelings for her, the Musketeers are forced to come to the aid of this extraordinary woman.

Wallis is probably most famous for appearing as Jane Seymour in the period drama, ‘The Tudors’. The 29-year-old has more recently played Grace Burgess in the BBC’s ‘Peaky Blinders’ and Muriel Wright in the 2014 series ‘Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond’.

The seventh episode of The Musketeers also features guest appearances from Alice Sanders (above, left) as Fleur Baudin and John Lynch as Luca Sestini.

Vinnie Jones Guest Stars as Labarge in Episode 8, ‘The Challenge’

It’s been known for a while now that actor Vinnie Jones would be guest-starring in the BBC’s hit TV series, The Musketeers, but with few details available. We’ve today learned that the ex-football player will be playing the role of Labarge in episode 8.

These just-released BBC pictures give us our first look at Vinnie in his latest on-screen role. Here’s a teaser of the plot for this upcoming episode, ‘The Challenge’:

The Musketeers are tasked with bringing the fearsome Labarge (Vinnie Jones), a regional Intendant, under arrest for the murder of two Musketeers, to Paris. The Red Guards, resentful of the Musketeers’ handling of him, initiate a vicious fight between the two regiments.

Fed up with the disruptive rivalry between the Musketeers and the Red Guards, King Louis calls a contest between them to settle which one is stronger once and for all. D’Artagnan is determined to fight so he can prove himself worthy to be a true Musketeer. But first, he has to learn to control his impetuous nature and to fight with his head, not his heart. Episode 8 also stars actress Zoe Tapper as Alice Clerbeaux.

Musketeers Don’t Die Easily – Will Milady tear the Musketeers apart in the BBC season 1 finale?

In episode 10 of 10 in The Musketeers series 1, things finally come to a head as Athos learns of d’Artagnan and Milady de Winter’s encounters.

Here’s the full BBC synopsis for the final episode of season 1. Spoiler Alert: You may want to wait until you’ve seen all previous episodes before reading this preview, as it may give away some of the earlier story lines.

The series reaches its thrilling climax when an unexpected rift between the Musketeers threatens to blow them apart. Athos (Tom Burke) takes a woman hostage in the square, and the Musketeers are amazed to discover he is threatening none other than Milady (Maimie McCoy).

Athos is furious when he finds out that d’Artagnan (Luke Pasqualino) knows her, testing their friendship to its limits. D’Artagnan is forced to do the unthinkable and seeks Milady’s help.

Cardinal Richelieu (Peter Capaldi), fearful that the Musketeers will prove he masterminded the attempt on the Queen’s life, compels Milady to kill them by any means. Milady has no choice but to revisit her dark past and, in doing so, puts Constance (Tamla Kari) into danger. The Musketeers must use all their wits and courage to outsmart her and save Constance.

Can the Musketeers restore their team and bring Milady and the Cardinal to justice? Or will Milady finally wreak her revenge?
