What’s the name of the song in the 2015 Asda TV ad’s and who sings it?

The track used in the current summer Asda supermarket TV advert (below) is titled ‘Oh My Love’ and it’s performed by a band called The Score.

According to their official Twitter page, The Score describe themselves as a NYC Indie Pop duo living in The City of Angels.

The full ‘Oh My Love’ single, which was released for download on iTunes on the 27th of January 2015, lasts a total of 3 minutes and 36 seconds. Since debuting on our TV screens earlier this month, this distinctive and upbeat song has been capturing the attention of millions of UK viewers, most of whom will have never heard it before.

At the time of writing this, the Asda summer Pocket Tap ad had already received over 1 million views on YouTube. This is more than five times as many as the bands official YouTube video that was uploaded around four months earlier.

The supermarkets Pocket Tap campaign forms part of the companies 50th birthday celebrations.
