The BBC today confirmed their complete presenting lineup for their F1 2014 TV and radio coverage.

This years television programming will once again be fronted by the trio of Suzi Perry, Eddie Jordan and David Coulthard, with Ben Edwards joining DC in the commentary booth. Radio 5 Live co-commentator Allan McNish will also be making regular appearances on screen as their expert analyst. Meanwhile, reporting from the pit lane will be the long serving, but still yet to be promoted Lee McKenzie, along with Tom Clarkson.

In a huge blow for viewers who used to enjoy the BBC’s F1 technical insights, Gary Anderson appears to have not made the list for 2014. No offense to the remaining members, but the former race car designer was arguably the most technically knowledgeable Formula One pundit ever to work on TV. More so than all the current lineup put together. With all the rule changes coming into effect this season, Gary Anderson’s input will be particularly missed.

As mentioned earlier, Allan McNish will be returning as Radio 5 Live’s analyst commentator, he’ll again be joined in the box by James Allen. If I had my way, this would be the TV commentary pairing, but I guess that’s just personal preference. The pair will be joined by Jennie Gow as presenter and radio pit lane reporter.
