Answer: This years SPOTY awards ceremony will be broadcast live on Sunday, 15 December.
Unlike last years contest which was dominated by Olympic medal winners with multiple contenders, 2013’s event is likely to revolve around one man, Andy Murray. Ever since the Scots historic victory at Wimbledon this summer, Britain’s number 1 tennis star has been a shoe in for the BBC prize.
Also expect to see Tour de France winner Chris Froome feature highly in the voting with a possible second place on the cards.
