When does Britain’s Got Talent start in 2015? – TV Air Date and Judges News

Britain’s Got Talent 2015 TV start date and judging line-up news.

When does the new series of Britain’s Got Talent start in 2015?

Update: The air date and time for Britain’s Got Talent 2015 has now been officially set by ITV for Saturday 11 April at 8:00pm. End of update.

With the judging line-up now confirmed as Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon, BGT is set to return to our TV screens in the Spring of 2015.

With the current series of Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway expected to finish on Saturday 4 April, Britain’s Got Talent should return on either the 11th or 18th of April, 2015.

We’ll update this page with the precise start date and time details as soon as ITV make an official announcement. Using previous series as a guide, earlier BGT air dates also point to an early April premiere.

In reality, very little has changed from 2014. Apart from judges Amanda, Alesha, David and Simon all returning, Ant & Dec will also be back to host proceedings, with Stephen Mulhern again fronting the ITV2 sister show Britain’s Got More Talent.

The Golden Buzzer will be back too. Featuring for only the second time, the special buzzer gives each judge one chance to guarantee an act direct, uncontested passage from the first round auditions, straight into the live semi-finals.

Speaking to ITV about Britain’s Got Talent’s return, judge Alesha Dixon stated: “The great thing about this show is that you never know what’s going to turn up on the day. I’m so happy to be reunited with Simon, Amanda and David, and to be surprised, shocked and amazed all over again at the talent on offer.”
