Celine Dion sings Loved Me Back To Life on X Factor UK 2013

Tonight’s X Factor results show saw special guest Celine Dion stop by to sing her new single ‘Loved Me Back To Life’.

The X Factor live version was allegedly pre-recorded in the studio on Friday, while Celine was already in the country. In the absence of an official YouTube video of the Canadian divas X Factor performance, here’s the star singing the track live in Quebec City:

What odds I wonder of the 45 year old returning to Britain in December for a Sam Bailey, X Factor final duet? Assuming ITV producers can get Michael Bolton’s firmly wedged foot, out of the door before the Wembley shows.

As well as singing on tonight’s X Factor, Celine has been busy elsewhere during her promotional trip to the UK. She’s already appeared on fellow ITV programme The Johnathan Ross Show for a bit of chat, and has also recorded a performance for BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing (likely drowned out by annoying audience applause as always).

Loved Me Back To Life is the first single off Celine Dion’s new album of the same name, which was released earlier this month. In addition to many new songs, the album also features a cover of the Journey classic ‘Open Arms’, also previously covered by fellow diva Mariah Carey. A true test for even the best of vocalists and no doubt worth a listen.
