What’s the Storyline?

The TV series Humans is set in a parallel present – a world where the latest must-have piece of tech is a highly advanced robotic servant from Persona Synthetics. These ultra realistic humanoid bots are known as synths.

Hoping to transforming their lives, a strained suburban family decide to buy a refurbished synth, only to later find out that sharing their home with a robot can have chilling and far-reaching consequences.

The show is based on a Swedish science fiction series called Real Humans.

When does Humans start on TV?

The Channel 4 air date and start time for episode 1 of Humans has now been officially set for Sunday 14 June 2015 at 9:00pm. Meanwhile over in the US, where the show will be broadcast on AMC, Humans is set to premiere Sunday June 28 at 9/8c.
