With the I’m a Celebrity 2013 lineup expected to be officially announced very soon, ‘Interesting’ Steve Davis is not just likely to take part, he’s already joint favorite to win.
Despite neither the snooker star or ITV having yet confirmed his appearance on this years series, bookmakers Paddy Power have already made Romford Slim joint favorite to be crowned 2013’s King of the Jungle.
If your a betting man or woman, you can currently get odds of 6 to 1 for The Nugget (yes he has a few nicknames) to win the whole thing. Joining him at the top of the list is another former sporting star, ex- English international footballer, Paul Gascoigne.
With doubts over Gazza (or anyone else for that matter) having the mental toughness to deal with a couple of weeks in the I’m a Celebrity Jungle, let’s hope fellow Geordie’s Ant and Dec are close at hand with a nice bucket of KFC. Just in case the environment and company get a bit too much for Gazza to handle.
Close behind the two sporting names with odds of 7 to 1 are reality stars Joey Essex and Rylan Clark. So if you count Romfords Steve Davis, that’s basically three Essex natives in the top four. Well I guess if ITV wanna pull in the viewers, it’s the only way.
