The BBC have revealed the lead cast list for Jed Mercurio’s adaptation of DH Lawrence’s classic novel, Lady Chatterley’s Lover. The 90-minute special will star 26-year-old English actress Holliday Grainger as Lady Chatterley, James Norton as husband Sir Clifford Chatterley and Richard Madden as the gamekeeper.

The air date and time has now been officially set for Sunday the 6th September, 2015, at 9:00pm on BBC1.

Filming for the drama began on location in Wales during October, 2014.
Originally published in 1928, this tale of love across class boundaries, tells the legendary and romantic story of Lady Chatterley’s affair with her gamekeeper.
The programme is a Hartswood Films production in association with Serena Cullen Productions.
