What’s the name of the song playing in BBC One’s advert for Ordeal By Innocence?

The BBC1 trailer for their upcoming drama Ordeal By Innocence features a song called ‘The Devil You Know’, which is performed by Dutch singer Sharon Kovacs. The 27-year-old artist is better known simply as Kovacs.

Featuring the lyrics “Coming out of a real thriller. Never thought you was a killer”, The Devil You Know was released in April, 2015 and can be downloaded or streamed from Amazon, iTunes or Apple Music.


Ordeal By Innocence had originally been scheduled to air over the Christmas period, but had to be delayed for recasting and refilming. Following sexual assault allegations, actor Christian Cooke was brought in to play the character Mickey Argyll, replacing Gossip Girl’s Ed Westwick.

The Agatha Christie drama will be broadcast over three episodes and has a cast list headed by Bill Nighy, Matthew Goode, Eleanor Tomlinson, Luke Treadaway, Anthony Boyle, Anna Chancellor and Catherine Keener.
