Answer: Many people having been wondering what date this years final of Strictly Come Dancing will be held.
Update: The BBC has now officially confirmed the Strictly Final 2013 will indeed air on Saturday the 21st of December, as we correctly stated below, back in October. The show will start at 6:30pm, live on BBC One. End of update.
Although we cannot 100% confirm the date at this time, we are virtually certain the live final will be broadcast on Saturday, 21 December, 2013.
This information is based on the last date for Strictly tickets, on the BBC’s be in the audience page being the 21st. Plus the fact the SCD final traditionally airs on BBC One, the last Saturday before Christmas.
As with all but one of the series 11 live shows, the grand final will be filmed at Elstree Film Studios.
The BBC have officially announced there will once again be a Strictly Christmas special this year, airing on December 25th. A total of six celebrity/pro couples will take to the dance floor on Christmas Day, battling it out for the shows silver star trophy.
