When are The Brit Awards 2014?
This years ceremony will take place on Wednesday, 19 February, 2014, from 8:00pm to 10:15pm, and will be broadcast live on ITV.
Where’s the Brit’s being held?
The awards sponsored by MasterCard, will be held at London’s O2 Arena, as has now been the case since 2011. Also sticking with the shows theme of the last few years, the ceremony will again be hosted by actor and comedian, James Corden.
Who’s performing at The Brit Awards 2014?
This years lineup of performers so far includes Bastille, Katy Perry, the Arctic Monkeys, Disclosure, Pharrell and Nile Rogers with Rudimental, Lorde, Bruno Mars and Ellie Goulding. With more names expected to be added to the list later.
This years event will also see the introduction of a brand new award category, Best British Video. The shows television audience will get to decide which artist walks away with this one, getting to vote for their favorite live on the night. Viewers will choose from a shortlist of 5 videos, selected in advance based on the number of YouTube views they’ve received.
