The Fall Season 2 Cast and Start Date Details Released.
When does The Fall series 2 start in 2014?
BBC2 have now confirmed via Twitter that the air date and time for series 2 of their hit crime drama will be Thursday 13 November, 2014 at 9:00pm. The second season is scheduled to run for six episodes, one more than last year. As part of the build-up to the episode 1 premiere, BBC Two are broadcasting the entire first series during the preceding weeks, with catch-up also available on BBC iPlayer.
Plot
Following on a mere 10 days after the dramatic series 1 cliffhanger ending, where Paul Spector (Jamie Dornan) informed DSI Stella Gibson (Gillian Anderson) she’d never be able to catch him, this new season of The Fall sees the Detective Superintendent continue her desperate search for this Belfast serial killer.
Upon returning to the Northern Irish capital, Spector learns of someone from his past lending the police some assistance with their investigations. Despite seemingly helping with enquiries, these developments force Paul to change tactics in a way which could potentially jeopardise the whole investigation.
