The Fall 2: BBC Release Trailer for Upcoming 2014 Drama

BBC Two have today released this brand-new trailer (below) for season 2 of their hit drama, The Fall.

Plot

Again starring US actress Gillian Anderson as Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson, the new 2014 season is set to pick up right where the original series left off, as Gibson continues her hunt for serial killer Paul Spector. A personal link from Spector’s past reveals some clues for Gibson, but also provokes Spector in a way which threatens to jeopardise the entire investigation.

Speaking prior to the start of filming earlier this year, Anderson told the BBC: “I’m over the moon to be back in production with this team again and to step into the shoes of the elusive Stella for what promises to be an even darker second season.”

Northern Irish actor Jamie Dornan returns as Spector, along with Bronagh Waugh who plays his wife Sally-Ann, and John Lynch as Assistant Chief Constable Jim Burns.

A UK air date has yet to be announced for series 2 of The Fall, but given BBC Two have now released this extended preview trailer, a premiere within the next couple of months appears highly likely. More news on that as it’s revealed.
