What location is used to film The Jump on C4?
Channel 4’s winter games themed reality TV show is filmed at locations in and around Innsbruck, Tyrol in Austria, including the town of Wörgl.
The live shows are broadcast from the small town of Natters, whose ski jumping facilities were first constructed in 1964. The site features the K15, K24 and now K60 jumps, of varying heights and difficulties.
In addition to being a popular winter holiday destination, the city’s sporting venues situated in the Inn Valley have previously played host to the Winter Olympics in both 1964 and 1976.

During the Channel 4 series, The Jump’s 12 celebrity contestants will be put through their paces across 6 winter sporting events. The Jump returned to our screens for series 2 in January of 2015, with the reality TV competition again being presented by the duo of Davina McCall and The Last Leg’s Alex Brooker.

Starring in series 2 were a fresh line-up of celebrities, including ‘Pussycat Doll’ Ashley Roberts, dance star Louie Spence, ex-cricket player Phil Tufnell, X Factors Stacey Solomon, ‘Jackass’ star Steve-O, Paul McCartney’s ex Heather Mills, JLS singer JB Gill, TOWIE’s Joey Essex, socialite Lady Victoria Hervey, plus one half of the Gogglebox ‘posh couple’ Dominic Parker.

Anthea Turner – Television and radio presenter.
Darren Gough – Retired England cricketer.
Henry Conway – Author, socialite and party promoter, apparently.
Kimberly Wyatt – Singer, dancer and former Pussycat Doll. What British reality series would be complete without one?
Laura Hamilton – TV presenter and 2011 Dancing on Ice runner-up.
Marcus Brigstocke – Stand-up comedian, TV host, actor and panel show regular.
Melinda Messenger – TV host and former glamour model.
Nicky Clarke – Celebrity hair stylist.
Ritchie Neville – Member of the boyband 5ive.
Sinitta – Former pop star and friend of Simon Cowell.
Sir Steve Redgrave – Legendary five-time Olympic rowing gold medalist.
Due to the somewhat risky nature of the sports these celebs are taking part in, this cast list of contestants may be subject to change. Original names Tara Palmer-Tomkinson and Sam J. Jones both pulled out of The Jump before the show has even begun airing.
The show which is scheduled to air over 10 consecutive nights, will be hosted by the team of Davina McCall and Alex Brooker. Meanwhile, Olympians Amy Williams and Graham Bell will both be on hand to coach this lineup of novices, with Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards acting as mentor.
Series Overview and Winners
Channel 4’s winter-sports reality show The Jump ran for four series between 2014 and 2017. The first series debuted in January 2014 and wrapped in February that year, with singer Joe McElderry crowned the inaugural winner. The second series followed in early 2015, concluding with reality star Joey Essex taking the top spot.
In 2016, the third instalment aired weekly from January to March, with former rugby player Ben Cohen emerging victorious. The final series began in February 2017 and ended in March, when Spencer Matthews claimed the championship.
Over its four-year run, The Jump became known not just for its adrenaline-fuelled challenges but also for the number of injuries sustained by celebrity contestants, particularly in the third series. Despite the controversies, it remained a unique mix of competition and spectacle, bringing winter sports into prime-time British television.
