In this rather comical scene from episode 9 of The Musketeers: ‘Knight Takes Queen’, Queen Anne (played by actress Alexandra Dowling) lends a hand by cooking dinner for her protectors.
In what will unfortunately be the penultimate episode of series 1, Athos, Porthos, Aramis and now fully fledged Musketeer d’Artagnan, must evade their pursuers to bring the Queen back safely to Paris.
Despite being in great danger, this time away from King Louis at least gives Anne the opportunity to get to know Aramis, to whom she’s taken quite a liking, a little better.
Meanwhile, the King dines with wealthy German banker Count Mellendorf (Roger Ringrose), who’s looking for a French match for his beautiful daughter Charlotte (Charlotte Hope).
