Following the result of last series live final, if any of the coaches were going to leave the show we’d have put money on it being will.i.am. As it happens two of the coaches/judges have decided to bid farewell to The Voice, but amazingly will isn’t one of them.

After the Black Eyed Peas frontman saw his singer Leah McFall fail to win despite rating her so highly, it was hard to see anyway he’d return. Despite briefly being linked in the US with a judging role on American Idol in 2014, will has indeed put his name down for a third series of The Voice.

So who did leave? Jessie J wasted little time in announcing her departure after the series 2 final with The Scripts Daniel O’Donoghue now following her out the door.

Thankfully adding a little stability to proceedings will be the return of Sir Tom Jones, who somehow never seemed in doubt to us.

Taking Jessie J’s chair and joining will and Tom in the The Voice UK season 3 judging line-up will be everyone’s favorite Aussie pop star, Kylie Minogue. Although not known for her incredible vocal abilities, Kylie will no doubt make a positive addition to the show. Though it’s hard to imagine her ever being anything but complimentary and nice to contestants.

But that still leaves one seat empty, who’s going to be the new fourth judge? At this time that still remains the big question, with the BBC likely to make an announcement at anytime.

We kinda assume that Kylie was the big name signing for this series so perhaps expect to see a lesser known, surprise decision. Much like with Danny O’Donoghue prior to the shows original series. Plus we predict they’ll be male, sticking with the standard 3:1 Voice formula.
