With the Tumble air date and celebrity line-up now confirmed, BBC One have today released this new trailer (below) for their upcoming gymnastics competition.
Running for six weeks, the programme’s celeb cast will feature Loose Women host Andrea McLean, Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding, world boxing champion Carl Froch, US actress Emma Samms, TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh, actor Bobby Lockwood, H from Steps, ex-Sugababe Amelle Berrabah and EastEnders actor John Partridge.
Judging the BBC Tumble celebrities will be Romanian Olympic gymnast and head Tumble judge Nadia Comaneci, Commonwealth Games Gold medal winner Craig Heap, French aerial performer Sebastien Stella and London 2012 medal winner/Strictly champ Louis Smith.
Offering some advice to the brave selection of BBC Tumble celebrity contestants, Multi-Olympic, World and European medal-winning gymnast Louis Smith said: “When you commit to something you’ve got to do it because you want to win. It’s got to take over your life, your every waking moment. I also know how scary it is to be on a live Saturday night entertainment show, so I’ll definitely have a bit of empathy with the celebs on that!”
Hosting Tumble will be The One Show presenter and former Strictly Come Dancing contestant, Alex Jones.
