ITV’s Your Face Sounds Familiar Celebrity Contestants

Here is the full list of contestants taking part in the new ITV entertainment show Your Face Sounds Familiar, in total there will be six celebrities taking part in the comedy singing contest.

In addition to entertaining television viewers and getting some prime-time Saturday night exposure, the contestants will also be raising money for a good cause with the series winner donating their prize money to a chosen charity.

First up is sketch show comedian and co-host of the popular BBC quiz show Pointless, Alexander Armstrong. As the new ITV show is being produced by Endemol, cynics might say Alexander’s Pointless friend Richard Osman (a director with Endemol) played a part in getting him on the show, not us though. Especially as after you look through the full list of celebs you realize the former Pimms promoter is actually one of the more famous names appearing on the show. Personally I think The Armstrong and Miller Show was hilarious and would love to see a new series, we’ll have to wait and see though if Alexanders singing matches up to his comedic a presenting skills.

Next up is Matt Johnson, you know, he does that hub thing sometimes on This Morning. Alright we did have to look that up, but apparently Matt is a Welsh TV presenter who used to host OK! TV on Channel 5 and also used to date One Show host Alex Jones.

Olympic gold medalist and BBC athletics pundit Denise Lewis OBE will be representing the world of sport when she takes to the stage. Denise won her gold in the heptathlon event during the 2000 Olympics in Sydney. She is now a regular face along with Colin Jackson and Jonathan Edwards on BBC Sports various track and field coverage.

Also performing will be Emmerdale actress Natalie Anderson who plays the character Alicia Metcalfe in the ITV soap. Expectations will be high for Natalie after previously performing in the hit musical Wicked and even releasing her own album called ‘Return To Me’ back in 2008.

Another soap star who’ll be looking to make a big impression will be former EastEnders actress Cheryl Fergison, who used to play the part of Heather Trott. Anyone who watched the final episode of Harry Hill’s TV Burp (clip below) where Cheryl sang Adele’s ‘Someone Like You’, will have noticed she too can hold a note.

Last up is a comedian and impressionist who also served some time on Albert Square, Bobby Davro. Since leaving the soap in 2008, Bobby’s television appearances have been mostly limited to reality TV shows such as Come Dine with Me an Dancing On Ice.
