Who are The X Factor UK 2015 Judges?

It was officially announced on Tuesday the 16th of June that Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw and singer Rita Ora will be joining Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini on The X Factor 2015 judges panel. This is now the second consecutive series to see multiple changes amongst the shows judging personnel.

2014 saw quite a shake up, with Gary Barlow, Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger all giving up their much sort after seats. In the hope of boosting the reality series flagging ratings, boss Simon Cowell returned from his US expedition, joined by fellow returnee Cheryl Cole. Despite consistently teasing viewers that each years competition would be his last, Louis Walsh yet again took his place on the panel. Former Spice Girl Mel B was then finally named as the fourth judge.

Who are The X Factor 2015 Presenters?

In recent years it had gotten to the point where this question was hardly worth asking. Having hosted The X Factor since 2007, during which time the series had featured no less than 11 different judges, Dermot O’Leary acted as the regular face of the show – But not anymore. With Dermot taking to Twitter in late-March to announce his departure, stunned fans were left asking the question: Who could possibly replace him?

In what you could describe as a compliment to the 42-year-old, Simon and the ITV producers later decided it would take not one, but two hosts to fill Dermot’s shoes, naming Caroline Flack and Olly Murs as the new presenting line-up. Both familiar faces to X Factor viewers, Olly appeared as a contestant in season six before teaming-up with Caroline to host The Xtra Factor.

During Olly’s time away from the ITV2 spin-off show to focus on his singing career, Caroline was joined for one year by comedian Matt Richardson, while also popping up on the main show to conduct the odd backstage interview.

It was however during her time away from ITV in 2014 when Miss Flack’s celebrity profile received the biggest boost of all, winning BBC One’s rival Saturday night series Strictly Come Dancing.

Meanwhile, Xtra Factor 2015’s host(s) took a while longer to select. With the Mirror having already revealed 2014 presenter Sarah-Jane Crawford was done after just one season, we know the ITV2 show would also be fronted by at least one new face. Following the two presenters is better than one theme, it was revealed in mid-June that popstar/television host Rochelle Humes would be teaming up with KISS FM DJ Melvin Odoom to front this years series of the X Factor spin-off show.
